Martin Webber - Agent

Specialising in farming and commercial insurance, having gained a degree in agriculture and having worked as a farm manager, together with loss adjusting experience of 14 years, Martin has unsurpassed technical expertise in all aspects of rural insurance matters. Martin is also the NFU Group Secretary, running four branches and hosting various events and get-togethers for our NFU Members. In his spare time, Martin’s passion is playing drums in a successful local rock band called Little Fish Big Pond.

Michele Jarvis - Agent

Dedicated and passionate about customer service and the products we offer, Michele can advise on all larger commercial and personal risks. Having qualified as a BHSAI in 1989 and having ridden and kept horses all her life, both in the UK and Australia, Michele will also help with any equine insurance matter.

Matthew Howgego – Sales Executive

Matthew was delighted to be appointed Sales Executive for the New Business Team back in June 2008. Having successfully completed both personal and commercial insurance licences, he is genuinely excited about continuing to develop this successful and highly recommended Agency. He looks forward to discussing either your existing policies or your new insurance requirements from our range of products.

Louise Stephens – Sales Executive

Having joined the Flimwell Agency in April 2008, Louise is now fully licensed in both personal and commercial insurances. As part of the new business team she is happy to provide you with a new quotation for any of our products as well as being able to help with any amendments to existing policies. Born and bred in the heart of Kent, she is passionate about the countryside and at weekends can often be found either behind the wheel of a tractor, charging across the landscape on her horse, (Louise is also an accomplished rider who competes very successfully in advanced three day events), or pulling pints at her local pub!

Frontline Sales Team

Judi Rose – Office Manager - With over 22 years’ insurance experience within NFU Mutual, Judi is our oracle on servicing existing policies. As well as meeting your insurance requirements, Judi always will go that extra mile to find a solution to any insurance query.

Together with Judi, Nikita Turk and Sue Stone are likely to be your first point of contact. Sue joined us in early 2007 and has obtained her motor, personal and equine licences and will offer you an excellent level of customer service. Nikita joined Flimwell Agency in April 2008 and also has her motor, personal and equine licences under her belt.

Gary McCulley – Claims Co-ordinator

Gary joined the Agency in June having had over 30 years’ experience in life and general insurance claims for loss adjusters. We pride ourselves on our excellent claims service and Gary provides a very knowledgeable point of contact who will guide you through the claim process, assisting you every step of the way.

Accounts

Cheryl Hart – Accounts Supervisor along with Michelle Aldous and will assist you in setting up direct debits and at your request can accept debit/credit card payments. They will also deal with any account queries you may have. Michelle can also provide you with duplicate vehicle insurance certificates at no extra cost. Julie Pocock is our Credit Controller and together with Lisa Hale also assists in making sure your renewal documentation reaches you in good time.

Wendy Smytherman

Wendy has worked for this Agency for over 20 years and has provided valued secretarial and back office support to the Agents. As well as looking after our day to day NFU administration, she assists greatly in the organisation of our annual NFU Orchard Competition.

Martin Collins - Financial Consultant

Our resident NFU Mutual Financial Consultant has over 20 years’ experience and is fully qualified and a member of the Chartered Institute of Insurance, He is available to offer individual expert advice in all financial service areas and appointments can be made to see him either here at the branch, or, if you would prefer, a home visit can be arranged.
