Customer loyalty reaps rewards

NFU Mutual reaches its centenary in 2010 - and is involving its loyal general insurance customers in the celebrations by doubling their Mutual Bonus throughout the year.

Nearly 93 per cent of NFU Mutual general insurance customers renewed their policies in 2009 and the special bonus means they will receive premium reductions ranging from 12% to 20% in 2010.

Mutual Bonus is NFU Mutual’s way of enabling its loyal customers to share in the benefits of its mutual status. Since the scheme was launched in 2000, general insurance customers have benefited from an estimated £617m and in 2010 the company’s double bonus is expected to see another £184m shared with them when they renew their policies.

The centenary Mutual Bonus payments apply to NFU Mutual customers renewing their general insurance policies - including motor, home, business, horse and cat and dog cover.
