The HHA represent the interest of Britain's historic houses, castles and gardens that remain in private ownership. |

- 1,500 properties (350 of which open regularly to the public)
- 20,000 + individuals, known as 'Friends' who have an interest in and enjoy visiting historic houses.

What support we provide
- Financial support for the 'Friends' printing' package, which includes membership cards
- 'Activities' supplemented in 'Historic House Magazine'
- Handbook of 'house and gardens' to visit
- 'Become a friend' leaflet
What their main activities are
- Lobbying government to ensure a fiscal, political and economic climate in which private owners can maintain Britain's historic houses and gardens for the benefit of the nation and future generations.
- Advice to owners, successors and other members. |
