David, Andrew and Alex were on the NFU/ NFU Mutual Stand for both days of the Suffolk Show. On the Wednesday evening 150 NFU Members and Insured Clients were entertained with drinks and a buffet. The weather was fine for once and the party spilled out on to the grass.
The NFU Farmers group visited the Churchill Museum & Cabinet War Rooms before having Lunch while cruising on the Thames followed by a visit to the Household Cavalry. A good day was had by all, helped by the good weather.
We took our usual spot at this years' show beside the main ring. Once the early morning rain disappeared the NFU Mutual stand was busy for the rest of the day - it is always a good opportunity to catch up with our existing customers, and also meet potential new customers and provide information about the services we offer.
Our children's competition of 'What's in the Box' was a great success with both adults and children guessing what agricultural produce they could feel. We were delighted to be awarded 2nd prize for the Trade stand (Non agricultural).
