Our team

David Blackwell, BSc, ACII, Charted Insurance Practitioner - Agent

David has been with the Agency since 1998 and is a specialist in agricultural and commercial insurances. He is also a Group Secretary for the local National Farmers Union.

Andrew Ward, Cert CII - Agent

Andrew has been an Agent since 2001 working with agricultural and commercial new business. He also oversees the life and finance function in the office. Andrew is also a group secretary for the local National Farmers Union.

Alex Walters, Dip CII - Agent

Alex had been with the Agency for over eight years when he became an Agent in April 2007 and now specialises in commercial business insurance and is head of the New Business Team.

Lorna Santon, BA(Hons), Cert CII - Sales Associate

Lorna has been with the Agency since 2006, she now specialises in commercial, personal and motor new business.

Geoff Anthony - Sales Associate

Geoff is our newest member of the team and specialises in new business enquiries.

Karl White, Leah Brown, Karen Toye & Leanne Rumsey - Insurance Advisors

Karl, Leah, Karen and Leanne form the personal lines team. They provide quotations for new motor and personal policies and make amendments to existing policies; they are the first point of call and can help deal with customer queries.

Lucy Harrison - Accounts Controller

Lucy's role within the agency is to deal with the customer payments, invoices and client account queries.

Monica Hurd - Office Manager & Claims Administrator

Monica oversees the running of the main office and also helps our clients when making business claims. She also assists with equine sales.

Megan Brown, BSc (Hons) - Claims Administrator

Megan assists customers in the claims process, dealing with the paperwork and liaising with our regional claims department to ensure claims are paid as swiftly as possible.

Tiffany Ransome BA (Hons) BHSAI (Reg'd)

- Office Administration Supervisor / Equine Advisor

Tiffany deals with Equine policies and also manages the administration department.

Justine Curry, Debbie Lancaster & Lindsay Curry
- Office Administration

Along with Tiffany, Justine, Debbie and Lindsay are responsible for the renewal documentation and assisting the partners with client correspondence.

Sean Pledger - Financial Consultant

Sean has been working with our agency for several years, he helps our customers plan for the future and offers valuable advice on pensions investments and life insurance.

NFU Mutual Financial Consultants advise on NFU Mutual products and services and in special circumstances those of other providers.
