Annual General Meeting

The NFU Mutual Annual General Meeting is your opportunity to have your say about how your mutual is being run. Your opinion is important to us and we very much value your involvement.

This year's AGM took place on 23rd June at the Stratford Manor Hotel with 130 members attending.

During his speech Sir Don Curry, NFU Mutual's Chairman, said: "2010 was a very special year for NFU Mutual as we celebrated our centenary. We can look back with pride at what we achieved in our 100th year."

Sir Don went on to highlight a number of awards that NFU Mutual won during 2010, many voted for by its members: "Surveys based on customer views do mean a lot to us," added Sir Don. "They are a strong reflection of the loyalty that we work so hard to earn."

The AGM ended with a donation of £26,000 to Make-A-Wish Foundation UK and the afternoon was rounded off with a moving presentation from Jonathan Sandall, Head of Corporate and Trust Fundraising at Make-A-Wish who thanked staff for their incredible fundraising efforts so far.

Voting results

87,201 proxy forms were returned which equates to 152.1 million votes being cast. Members voted in favour of all resolutions presented at the AGM. The final results are set out below:
