Overgate Hospice in Elland provides specialist palliative care for adults in the Calderdale area. All patients have a life-limiting, advanced, progressive illness.
In 2011 we became the 150th Corporate sponsor for Overgate hospice in Elland, something Helen, Phil & the whole team are keen to support. Helen and other colleagues from NFU Mutual took part in Overgate's first 10km run in April and raised nearly £1000.
In 2011 we strengthened our support of Halifax RLFC by becoming the official community partner of the club in 2011.
The partnership between NFU Mutual and Halifax RLFC began in early 2010 and has grown steadily with us now sponsoring the community team, ball boy, cheerleader groups and the club mascot 'Halicat' in addition to our new role as official community partner.
