Use the NFU Mutual virtual home to calculate the value of your home contents
- Start your calculation by clicking on any room.
- Enter a value for each item by clicking on it and keying in a 'new for old' value in the box below the illustration. Press return/enter, click the 'Add' button or simply select another item. An allowance for wear and tear should be made for clothing and pedal cycles over 2 years old.
- Multiple items (such as CD's) can be totalled with our handy calculator.
- Valuables (such as TV's, IT equipment, jewellery and artwork) can be entered in the 'valuables' section of the table.
- Items not listed can be entered as 'other items.'
- Move on to another room by clicking 'Forward', 'Back' or clicking on your selected room.
- Rooms not listed (such as conservatory or utility room) can be entered as 'spare room'.
- Finish your calculation by clicking on the 'Quit' key and selecting an option.
- Print your results by clicking on the print/save button and using the browser print function.
- Save your results by clicking on the print/save button and using the browser save function.
- Help can be obtained by clicking on the help button.
