Simon Whattler - Senior Agent
Over ten years managing the NFU Mutual Agency and specialising in new business insurance and industry compliance whilst keeping a close eye on our existing farm and business clients via annual reviews and close personal contact. Simon has a wealth of industry knowledge and maintains a tight business structure while insisting that the branch is a happy place to work in and for our clients to visit.
Mark Ley - Agent
An NFU Mutual Agent, since July 2004, Mark has a broad range of business insurance knowledge and specialises in farm and country estate clients. His earthy Devon farming base has given him an excellent grounding to deal specifically with this sector but he is also more than able to assist in any other home, vehicle or business insurance requests that come his way.
Kerry Lyons - Assistant Group Secretary
Kerry Lyons is a local girl with a farming background and much local knowledge to her credit. She has lived and worked in the Holsworthy community all her life and is now in the process of becoming fully licenced to provide help with all NFU Mutual insurance products as well as assist the farming community. She is keen to meet and sign up new NFU Members as well as provide accurate and professional assistance with the insurance needs of our existing and new customers as and when she becomes fully licenced in all our products. Taryn Timney - Sales Executive
Taryn has joined the Halwill NFU Mutual Agency to offer all three services, General Insurance, Financial Services and Risk Management to new commercial and personal customers looking for a company with sound ethics and a customer focussed attitude.

She is available to travel anywhere in the South West, within reason, to offer a hands on personal approach to new clients.

Neil Sparkes - Financial Consultant
I've been in the industry for 24 years, having previously worked in banking and as a Financial Adviser specialising in all aspects of both personal and business financial planning. I joined NFU Mutual in April 2001, attracted by both their customer service ethos and mutuality status.

NFU Mutual Financial Consultants advise on NFU Mutual products and services and in special circumstances those of other providers.
Rachel Cleverdon - Office Manager
More years with NFU Mutual than she would care to admit to Rachel sees to the smooth running of the general insurance processing in the branch as well as acting as our credit control manager. She oversees the training and competence of staff and ensures that everyone is fully aware of the limits of their individual licence thereby ensuring that the branch remains compliant and within the rules of the FSA.
Susan Westaway - Sales Team Leader
Sue likes to ensure that every client new to our agency understands that they have a personal relationship with the staff in this branch. She believes passionately in NFU Mutual products and services and ensures that all our clients know about every avenue we can help them with. She leaves no stone unturned in offering every assistance and expert knowledge to our huge client base and ensures that all our sales team understands the quality of the products they have to offer.
Tracey Headdon - Customer Services & Renewals
Since joining our team in 2005 Tracey's quiet and efficient manner has delighted clients time and again and left them feeling confident and cared for. She has a broad knowledge of all the products she is licensed to discuss and ensures that every query is dealt with in a timely and businesslike manner. She also manages the sorting and sending of renewal documents to ensure clients have adequate time to renew their covers and remain protected.
Wendy le Noury - Customer Services & Sales
Wendy has been with the branch since August 2007 and has a broad knowledge of the industry having previously worked in a broker's office. Her quiet but confident manner leaves all clients with an assurance that their insurance matters are being dealt with in a professional and caring way. She brings a sense of fun and laughter to the branch environment, on a regular basis, and clients rarely leave without a smile on their face.
Susan Heard - Customer Services & Sales
Susan's quiet disarming manner helps smooth the claims process for our clients during their time of crisis and they are left feeling individually cared for and confident that their problem will be dealt with in an efficient and speedy manner. Her telephone manner causes regular positive comment from happy customers and she takes personal pride in handling the claims side of the branch as well as achieving a high level of professionalism when dealing with insurance quotes and enquiries.
Shirley Henderson - Customer Services & Sales
Shirley joined us in June 2007, as a part time clerk, and her growing knowledge and understanding of our products means she can provide our customers with a clear unambiguous understanding of the product they already have or need. Her calm professional manner on the phone has resulted in many positive comments from our clients and she leaves customers with the feeling of having been listened to and cared for on an individual basis.
Sion Rofe - Customer Service Advisor
Sion has been with the branch since September 2009 and has developed a deep understanding of all the personal products we can offer. His calm quiet manner assists clients to help their understanding of our products and services and he resolves many queries and questions every day. His role recently expanded to become the Senior Agent's Personal Assistant and this sees him working closely with Simon to maintain his busy diary and follow up on reviews etc. that he has undertaken.
David Medland - Customer Service Advisor
David joined the Halwill team in April 2010 after working in the insurance industry for several years as a claims negotiator. He has swiftly grasped the NFU Mutual ethos of 'customer first' and in record time achieved licences in several of our personal lines products. His ability to assist customers is growing daily and he has become an important member of the team in a very short time.
