Our chosen local charity for 2011 is Wish Upon a Dream.

Wish upon a Dream is an Isle of Man registered charity, it was launched in mid 2007 with the granting of the first wish and its primary role is to grant wishes for sick and terminally ill children living on the Island.

The charity is completely independent, it has no connection to any other charity of a similar name or nature either on the Isle of Man or the UK. Funds raised by the charity are solely for children living on the Isle of Man.

How it works…

For every new customer that is recommended who subsequently buys any personal or business insurance* we will give £20 to Wish Upon a Dream.

Simply recommend a friend who you think would benefit from the personal service that is at the heart of our business. When they become a customer we’ll contribute £20 to Wish Upon a Dream**.

Wish upon a Dream results 2010

In 2010, our chosen charity was Wish Upon a Dream.  This is an Isle of Man registered charity; it was launched in mid 2007 with the granting of the first wish and it s primary role is to grant wishes for sick and terminally ill children living on the Island. 

Here at NFU Mutual in Tromode we raised £4412.23 for the charity.  This granted a wish for Harvey Gough to go on his first ever holiday with his mum Hannah and her fiancé Peter.

In 2009 our chosen charity was Oskar’s Dreams. Oskar Craig is a much loved little boy who suffered from a terminal illness and his legacy will be ‘Oskar’s Dreams,’ a charity formed in December 2006, to help fund specialist care for children who follow him.

Here at NFU Mutual in Tromode we raised £1,560 for the charity.
