  Margaret Farquhar - Agent

  With a BSc (Hons) in Agriculture, Margaret has been involved in crofting most of her life. Before joining the NFU Mutual she had worked on both dairy and sheep farms, and as an agricultural adviser. She also has a keen interest in horses. Margaret took over as an Agent for NFU Mutual in 1994. It then became the first full time branch in Shetland. Margaret deals primarily with farming and business insurances. She is also the Secretary for NFU Scotland's Shetland Branch.

• Angela Sutherland - Office Manager

  The newest member of our team, Angela joined the branch in August 2010. She brings a wealth of experience in looking after offices both large and small, and is dedicated to the smooth running of ours. With the firm belief that outstanding customer service is at the heart of our business, she is a valuable addition to the team.

  Darren Stewart - Sales Support Clerk

  Darren came to NFU Mutual as a school leaver in 2003. With this seven years experience he has become a vital member of the team who has a broad knowledge of products. He can help you with a new motor or personal policy, make amendments to your existing policies, and can help if you are unfortunate enough to have to make a claim.

  Tracey Waddell - Sales Support Clerk

  When she joined the team in 2007 Tracey brought her years of customer service experience with her. Her friendly, professional manner means she is one of the first points of contact for many of our existing customers making amendments or claims. She can also set up new motor or personal insurances.

  Abby-May Probert - Sales Support Clerk

  Due to the increasing business we were delighted to recruit Abby as an essential addition to our busy branch in 2009. She is happy to give assistance on motor, home and lifestyle policies either new or existing customers.

  Isla McGhee - Sales Executive

  Joining the team in 2009 Isla has a strong background in financial and insurance services. She is predominantly responsible for developing new business and can help you to set up any new insurance policy. She is also available to arrange appointments with our Financial Consultant.

• Colin Murray - Financial Consultant

  Colin has been our dedicated Financial Consultant for almost 10 years and is highly respected by our customers. Based out of Aberdeen he covers both Orkney and Shetland and visits our branch every month. He is qualified to advise on NFU Mutual's financial products and services. Whether you are looking for pensions, investments or protection advice Colin will be happy to help. NFU Mutual Financial Consultants advise on NFU Mutual products and services and in special circumstances those of other providers.
