Welcome to our NFU Mutual branch in Leyburn. Our branch is in the market town of Leyburn, the gateway to the largest of the Yorkshire Dales, Wensleydale. We pride ourselves on personal, local, first class service.
I have 17 years experience in the insurance industry, and have worked for NFU Mutual since 2008, taking over the reins at this branch in January 2010. I can deal with all aspects of your insurance requirements, from car and home insurance, to insurance for commercial organisations. Outside of work I enjoy restoring classic cars and own a 1963 MG Midget and a 1969 Mini Cooper.
I joined the Leyburn team in February 2010, and have lived in the local community all of my life. As well as ensuring all staff are competent and compliant in the products they sell, I can also assist with all motor, personal and business insurance quotes and queries. I am also here to deal with any claims and account queries you may have. Outside of work I like to travel and enjoy experimenting in the kitchen.
I have a farming and equine background and joined the Leyburn Agency of NFU Mutual in March 2010 after studying Biomedical Sciences at Newcastle University and I am now progressing through my Chartered Insurance Institute exams. Here at the Leyburn branch I am part of the sales team and am able to assist in all motor, personal, commercial and farming products providing new business quotations. I can help you over the telephone or come to see your business to discuss your commercial needs.
I have been at the Leyburn branch since 1989, working originally in 'the hut' at the auction mart and more recently into our new refurbished premises. I do the general day to day administration in the office. I have been married to a local farmer for 40 years, and outside of work I enjoy gardening, flower arranging and looking after my grandchildren.
I joined NFU Mutual in 2008 having previously worked in a variety of roles within the Financial Services industry. I can discuss your investment, protection and retirement needs in our branch or in the comfort of your own home with no obligation to you.
