Welcome to our NFU Mutual branch in Meopham. Our recently refurbished and extended branch is situated at the end of Camer Parade, in the village of Meopham on the North Downs, mid way between Gravesend and Wrotham.
Appointed Senior Agent and Group Secretary in 1993, Clive is a most experienced and successful NFU Mutual agent in the north Kent area who works closely with the rural community.
He studied Agriculture and Farm Business Management at Cirencester, qualifying as a Member of the Royal Agricultural College (M.R.A.C.) and had a successful career in Estate Agency in London prior to becoming a Mutual agent.
Since taking on the Meopham agency he has seen it grow to over five times its original size. The agency continues to expand as more and more people come to appreciate the advantages of doing business with a well qualified and friendly professional team, dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and quality insurance products at a fair price.
Licensed in all aspects of general insurance, Clive carries out regular insurance reviews with existing clients, and on site visits and surveys.
He is more than happy to visit potential new business clients, to review their existing arrangements and advise on the various cover options and likely costs.
Clive is assisted at Meopham by an excellent team of exceptionally capable and well qualified staff.
Kathryn, with an honours degree in mathematics, joined the team in 2005.
A very capable lady, with an in depth knowledge of the insurance industry, Kathryn looks after our larger clients and assists with new business and commercial customers, advising on cover options and preparing quotations.
Another very capable lady, with a strong managerial background in the financial services, banking and finance sectors.
Clair joined the team in early 2009 and very quickly completed the intensive training scheme, gaining her licenses in all the motor, personal and business insurances, and as a restricted introducer for NFU Mutual’s financial services products.
She is responsible for the efficient day to day running of the Meopham office and is always available to help clients with any specific insurance issues.
With a background in banking, Natalie joined the Meopham team in early 2010. She has a strong academic background and quickly qualified as an Insurance Adviser, licensed in all motor, personal and commercial products, and as a restricted introducer for financial services products.
Natalie can assist you with all you insurance requirements and particularly specialises in preparing quotations for new customers.
Purnima joined us in 2010, with a background in applied science, particularly biochemistry and microbiology. With a logical mind, learning the intricacies of NFU Mutual’s insurance policies proved quite straightforward for her. She specialises in motor and home insurance and related products, and is in charge of our claims handling within the office.
Nathan joined us in 2011 with a background in retail management. He has already completed his motor and home and contents licenses and will soon be tackling his commercial insurance exams. He will be happy to assist you with any queries you may have relating to car, commercial vehicle, horsebox or home and contents insurance.
Craig is our new Financial Consultant, if you need friendly advice with regards to your life insurance, pensions or investments he will gladly come out and see you. Craig recommends that you should review your finances on an annual basis. If you would like an appointment please contact this branch.
NFU Mutual Financial Consultants advise on NFU Mutual products and services and in special circumstances those of other providers.
Karen has worked for NFU Mutual since January 2006, first as a Training Consultant, responsible for the training, coaching and development of all NFU Mutual Agents and their staff in the Kent and East Sussex area. She is now working in the Sales Consultant role, responsible for supporting (amongst others) the Meopham agency with general sales, campaigns, compliance and customer service. A business graduate and former FE college lecturer, Karen is in the agency every Tuesday dealing with technical queries, liaising with underwriters and NFU Mutual local branch and head office on behalf of the agency.
