I was appointed as an NFU Mutual Agent in 1984. I grew up in the Llangollen area, my father was a Bank Manager and my mother was a farmers daughter from Llangwn near Bala. This has helped to develop my interests in both the finance and agricultural sectors and I have built a close working relationship with both the farming and non farming business community over a wide area. I enjoy working closely with customers and getting to know their business and this allows me to ensure the insurance covers provided meet their business needs. Most customers that I deal with have a long term connection with NFU Mutual. My hobbies include shooting and motor cycling and helping out on the family farm. We have an excellent team in place at our two branches at Corwen and Ruthin and we all look forward to meeting you soon!
I was appointed as an Agent for NFU Mutual in October 2007. Originally from Tyn Y Groes in the the Conwy Valley, I was brought up on the family beef and sheep farm. I graduated from Aberystwyth University with a degree in Agriculture with Business and then went on to work for Animal Health ( formerly State Veterinary Service ) in Caernarfon. I can help clients on a wide range of products and services, specialising in farming and commercial business. I am happy to visit clients to discuss their insurance requirements.
I have recently been appointed as office manager having held a similar position for over 20 years in the construction industry. Richard joined NFU Mutual in June 2011 and will be focusing on business and agency development across North & Mid Wales. Previously he worked in various management roles for Bank of Scotland followed by five years with Nationwide Building Society (within their Regional Brand - Dunfermline Building Society).
