On 25 June 2011 we celebrated Hannah and Tom's wedding at Burcombe Manor.  It was a gorgeous day and the party was fabulous, lots of dancing and a fantastic band!  Hannah jetted off to Italy for her honeymoon.

Steven has just completed his John O Groats to Lands End trip on a quad bike.  He did this with his friends Jeremy Bailey and Nick Baker, in memory of Jeremy's son Rob who lost his fight against cancer in June 2008, aged 13. They have so far raised in excess of £12,000 for childrens' cancer charities.

On 22 March we celebrated the official opening of our new branch on London Road. 

John Elliot, Non-Executive Director of NFU Mutual, cut the ribbon for us and we were joined by local business representatives and NFU Members. 

Our branch are open form 9am to 5pm for you to call in for a quote or change to an existing policy. Our phones lines are open until 8pm weekdays and 9am to 12.30pm on Saturdays.

Little did we know as we waved Micayla off on holiday to Australia that she would return a different woman! 

Micayla married her boyfriend Aaron in Palm Cove, Australia and kept it a secret from everyone until the day of the event!  Micayla and Aaron then continued their holiday travelling around Australia. 

Now we are all looking forward to the big party in May!

Our Commercial Team, Cecilia, Camilla and Steph, attended the Stonehenge Business to Business showcase to promote our commercial products and raise the profile of NFU Mutual.

We ran a competition to win a Christmas Hamper and the lucky winner was Bruce Eyre of Debt Doctor.

In addition, we were proud to win the Best Stand Award and receive a bottle of champers for our efforts!

In September 2010, we attended the South Witlshire Business EXPO at the City Hall in Salisbury.

It was a hectic day, and very busy but it gave us an opportunity to meet some of our existing customers and also promote ourselves and our brand.

We are likely to attend the 2011 event too so watch this space!

Our Camilla got marrried on 4th September. She had a gorgeous day and we joined her during the evening for her reception. A fabulous time was had by all!

2009 and 2010 have been years of expansion for us at Salisbury Agency. In order to cope with the volume of business we now process we have taken on two new Customer Telephone Executives; Micayla Shaw (left) and Amy Docking (right).

Our new ladies will be dealing with New Business Quotations for Motor and Personal.

In addition, Andrew Hillier joins us as our new Financial Consultant. Andrew is not new to NFU Mutual, and has worked for the company for over 6 years! Andrew can advise on NFU Mutual products and services and in special circumstances those of other providers.

We are exhibiting at the South Wiltshire Business EXPO on 22nd September 2010. The EXPO is an opportunity for businesses not just from Wiltshire and Hampshire, but as far as Bath, Bournemouth and Bristol to promote their products.

Both our agents, Steven and Steph, will be on hand to discuss your insurance or investment needs. Our sales Associate, Cecilia Miles, will also be available to discuss any commercial insurance concerns you might have.

The event attracts over 1000 visitors each year, so why not visit us at stand 14!

In May, all the staff at Salisbury branch were treated to a night at the races courtesy of Steven and Steph as a thank you for all their hard work put in so far this year. A home made picnic was laid on and a few glasses of bubbly were consumed! We even had a few winners on the night, with Camilla making the most profit!
