Philip joined the NFU Mutual in 1991. He has over twenty years experience of providing a high quality insurance service to our business, farming and personal customers in the Selby, Goole and Thorne areas.
Philip, in his spare time (when family commitments allow), still enjoys competitive clay-pigeon shooting and a few days’ game-shooting during the season.
Graham joined NFU Mutual in 2006 as an underwriters as our York office. He joined the Selby agency in May 2011 and assists with commercial insurance renewals and quotations as well as dealing with customer enquiries and quotations.
Graham is a keen dog-walker who’s out and about every day before work walking his dog, Teddy.
Christine joined NFU Mutual in 1994 and looks after our Key Account customers as well as co-ordinating financial services and risk management activity within the office. Christine also deals with customer enquiries and quotations.
Christine, when she was 11, won an elocution medal by reading The Piper by William Blake. Her interests are gardening, travel, dancing and the odd G&T!
Stacey joined NFU Mutual in 2003 she’s responsible for accounts, renewals, payments and credit control.
Stacey grew up surrounded by animals in the countryside, through her dad’s job as a wildlife cameraman. She enjoys spending time wit her family and friends, watching movies and being with her two dogs.
Sam joined NFU Mutual in 1993, progressing to business partner at the Howden office. Having a desire to work in a larger agency, Sam transferred to Selby in 2007. Sam deals with customer enquiries and quotations on all general insurance products and deputises as Office Manager in Melanie’s absence.
Sam has a passion for cooking, walking her dog “Billy” and loves to spend precious time with her wonderful family and friends. She can regularly be found in her local pub sampling her favourite tipple, tap water (honest?)
Becki joined NFU Mutual in 1999 at our claims department in York and transferred to the Selby agency in 2005, initially to handle claims although she now mainly deals with customer enquiries and quotations.
Becki often entertains the office, singing whilst she works as she is a regular karaoke singer who recently won a local competition.
Glenn joined NFU Mutual in 2010 at our equine claims department in York and joined the Selby team in 2011. Glenn started working in insurance when he moved to Yorkshire in 2003.
Glenn enjoys walking in the Yorkshire countryside, literature and photography. He's also a keen supporter of Selby rugby club and regularly contributes articles to the programme.
Denise joined NFU Mutual in 2011 as Financial Services Appointment Co-ordinator and she’s pleased to be part of the team at Selby. She brought with her over 35 years experience in retail and customer service.
Denise’s hobbies include drawing, painting and dog-walking.
Melanie joined NFU Mutual in 1990 and undertook several roles in underwriting and sales before joining the Selby branch as Office Manager in 2005. Melanie has extensive knowledge in all areas.
Melanie enjoys spending time with her family. She’s often found in forests following another of her passions, motor-sport rallying. Melanie also enjoys travel, walking and looks for every opportunity to enjoy the fresh air in her local countryside.
