As a mutual company, our customers and community lie at the heart of the way we do business. At NFU Mutual in Shipston on Stour we feel that it’s only right to give something back to the local area. That’s why we’re proud to support Shipston Home Nursing as our nominated charity.

Shipston Home Nursing is a registered charity based in Shipston-on-Stour providing palliative care for the terminally ill in Shipston-on-Stour, Kineton and Wellesbourne.

Their aim is to allow the patient and their family to remain at home, working closely in a professional and caring manner with the other health professionals involved in their care. They nursed over 350 patients up to Spring 2009 and 32 during 2008.

The service is offered free of charge to the community and comes at an average cost to the charity of £3000 per patient. Donations are vital to keep the local charity running, so if you would like to make a donation, please contact Christopher Owen on 01608 686547 / 685095.
