Local community

As a responsible local business, we feel it’s important to give something back so as well as supporting a number of events in and around Shipston, we also contribute to a number of good causes.

Different Strokes

Different Strokes logoDifferent Strokes is a national charity launched in 1996 by young stroke survivors for young stroke survivors, for the purposes of active self-help and mutual support.

Local stroke victim Mr Mike Druce is planning to cycle from Lands End back to Oxhill to raise money for the charity. He is ex chairman of the charity, a post he took up after his stroke and has held for 4 years. We have paid for the cost of the recovery vehicle whilst he is on his ride, which he thinks, will take around 2 weeks.
