Our team

John Graves - Senior Agent

John joined NFU Mutual in 1983 and is senior partner. He can help both farming and commercial business customers.

Hedley Roberts - Agent

Hedley joined as partner in 1994. He deals with our existing farm business customers as well as commercial and personal insurance.

David Shove - Agent

David also joined as partner in 1994 and is responsible for looking after our farming customers. He also helps on new commercial business risks.

Ian Du Noyer – Office Manager

Ian has over 30 years insurance experience and joined the branch in 2009 as Office Manager. He is responsible for the smooth day to day running of the office administration and staff development.

Sandra Duffy – Customer Service Advisor

Sandra joined NFU Mutual in 2008 and brought with her many years experience in assisting motor and personal insurance customers and providing new business quotations.

Mark Cope – Customer Service Advisor

Mark joined the branch in 2009 having previously worked for an Insurance Broker specialising in personal insurances. He provides new motor, household and equine quotations as well as assisting existing customers.

Catherine Burns – Customer Service Advisor

Catherine joined NFU Mutual in 2008. She offers help to existing customers as well as new quotations for motor and personal insurances.

Pauline Vergalen – Customer Service Advisor

Pauline recently joined us following a career working for both insurers and insurance brokers. This had provided many years experience in providing new quotations and helping customers with motor and personal insurances.

Sue Ablitt – Accounts & Customer Service Advisor

Sue is the longest serving member of the staff and has many years of experience with NFU Mutual. She can help you on your motor and personal insurance as well as keeping the branch accounts in good order.

Peter Brandwood – Customer Service Advisor - Claims

Peter runs the claims handling for the branch and will guide you through the procedure to ensure your claim is managed efficiently. He also deals with new business enquiries for motor and household.

Sharon Marsh – Administration Assistant

Sharon has been with NFU Mutual for over 15 years. She provides assistance to ensure the smooth operation of the claims process.

Vicky Greenhalgh – Administration Assistant

Vicky ensures that the branch's renewal documents arrive in our office and are dispatched to our policyholders in good time.

John Whiteley – Sales Associate

John joined the team in early 2008 and brings with him experience of business and personal insurances. John deals with new commercial enquiries.

Gregg Litherland – Customer Service Advisor

Gregg joined the team in June 2010 having previously worked in Financial Services. His role involves providing quotations for personal insurances and helping existing clients with any queries.

Chris Harding – Life and General Sales Marketing

Chris was a new addition to the team in June 2010. He brings with him over 10 years experience in marketing. His role is to increase awareness of our life and general products amongst both new and existing clients.

Tom Ricketts – Financial Consultant

Tom is the financial consultant for the branch and is qualified to advise you on any aspect of pensions and investments.
