John Graves - Senior Agent
Our office in Southport operates as a satellite branch for our Skelmersdale office and allows us to play an active role in the local community by providing a personal, local service for people living in the Southport area. At a time when many financial organisations are withdrawing their support from towns and villages, we wanted to open an office which brought us closer to our customers. People have always valued good service from local businesses and our philosophy has always been to provide an attentive and personal service for clients, whether talking to them on the phone, face-to-face in the office or visiting them at their business or in their home. It is this culture of customer care that enables us to really get to know our customers and tailor our services to their needs in a way which simply would not be possible if our business was conducted entirely online or over the telephone.
Annabel Robson - Sales Associate
My association with Graves, Roberts & Shove dates back to 2004 when I commenced work in the Skelmersdale branch. After a very successful few years I was offered the chance to combine my role as a Sales Associate with the responsibility of managing the Southport branch. This has been an excellent opportunity and I thrive on the diversity of the challenges that arise on a daily basis. I am also a Commercial Insurance specialist and my knowledge of this field is always in demand from both existing and prospective customers. When away from the branch I spend my time with my energetic young daughter on the farm where I live. She loves the lambs and chickens so there is always something going on to entertain us.
David Lewis - Insurance Consultant
Since joining with NFU Mutual in 2008 every day has delivered a new challenge. This daily examination of my insurance industry experience has enhanced my skill set and it has enabled me to come up with practical solutions to our clients requirements. I have a background in retail management so I appreciate how important it is to get things right first time. I specialise in new business quotes for both General and Commercial Insurance but I am always ready to deal with anything that is thrown at me. I have plenty of energy to burn off in the evenings and at weekends. I do this by keeping to a fitness regime that includes running, cycling and regular visits to my local gym.

I have over 30 years of Insurance Industry experience in the Southport area and my local knowledge frequently assists me in my role as Insurance Consultant. I am able utilize all my know-how to produce quotations on our wide range of products with my particular expertise being High Net Worth Household. I am looking forward to progressing my career but it's not all work and no play for me. I have a young son and it's spending time with him that I cherish most of all. Chris Harding - Life & General Sales & Marketing Executive
I am responsible for marketing so it is my job to make people aware of the branch in Southport and the products & services that we provide. I am vastly experience in both the insurance industry and marketing so this role is ideal for my skill set. My main focus is promoting The Financial Services side of the company and I work closely with our Financial Consultant to achieve this. Outside work I enjoy watching and playing most sports although I need to practice my snooker more often. I also take great pleasure spending my holiday time in remote and far off places.

Peter Brandwood - Claims Advisor
With there being so many policies being written by the Southport Office it is inevitable that this is going to generate a number of claim submissions. Having a locally based Claims Advisor, like me, enables us to perform a fast and fair claims service. We have excellent feedback from our customers and it gives me great satisfaction when a claim is settled.
