We are well known for looking after the insurance needs of farmers since 1910, but we also provide insurance solutions to many private clients who predominately require assistance with their motor and home insurance needs.
We are not general insurance brokers but instead providers of insurance products from NFU Mutual, the large rural insurer. Access to products from NFU Mutual is not available to you through your broker, and therefore we act as a real alternative for you in the motor and personal insurance market.

Our team of private client account handlers provide assistance to our clients throughout the lifetime of their policy. Policy alterations do not carry any amendment fee and they are processed within our own office ensuring a quick and easy service to our clients. Our team are also permitted to negotiate and settle minor home insurance claims direct with our customers. Motor claims operate within our approved repairer scheme, providing a local approved repairer, who offer a free courtesy vehicle whilst the repairs are carried out together with a three year warranty on the repairs.
NFU Mutual have 5-Star Defaqto ratings for home contents and buildings insurance, car and travel insurances. These insurances have been rated in 2010 as 5-Star by Defaqto, a leading UK independent financial research company. They describe the products as some of the best quality products in the market, with an excellent range of features and benefits and very high cover levels.
