We are the Partners at Taunton and have been Agents for NFU Mutual since 1988 and 1999 respectively. We manage the NFU Mutual Agency and specialise in new business insurance and industry compliance whilst keeping an eye on our existing farm and business clients via annual reviews and close personal contact. We both have a wealth of industry knowledge and maintain a tight business structure while insisting that the branch is a happy place to work in and for our clients to visit.
Having worked at Taunton NFU Mutual since 2005, previously as Sales Administrator, I am now part of the new business team. I spend most of my time out of the office meeting customers at their premises to provide face to face local service. I primarily deal with commercial insurance businesses including large commercial risks, caterers, wholesalers and tradesmen. I’m also happy to provide quotations for high value Home & Contents, Motor Fleet or any other personal insurance.
I have a strong background in insurance having worked in this sector prior to joining NFU Mutual Taunton agency. My role is similar to Lindsey’s generating new business for the Taunton agency but I am based in the office to assist customers over the telephone. We both have a wealth of knowledge having worked in insurance previous to NFU Mutual and we work closely with the NFU Mutual specialist claim handler teams and loss adjusters. We aim to provide an efficient claims service that gives straight forward help and advice when customers need it most; upstanding NFU Mutual's reputation for fair claims handling.
I manage the sorting and sending of existing customer’s renewal documents to ensure clients have adequate time to renew their covers and remain protected. Another area I deal with is existing and new customer’s accounts to ensure the smooth handling of client’s monies. I am also able to assist both new and existing clients with their insurances.
I am an NFU Mutual Financial Consultant and am able to provide investment, protection and financial services advice to both individuals and businesses.
