What is the Capital access bond?
The Capital Access Bond (or CAB) is a With-Profits Bond. Your investment grows with the addition of bonuses.
What are the bonus rates?
The current bonus rates can be found on the Capital access bond page of this website. Alternatively you can call our bonus rate message line free on 0800 072 6060. You should remember that bonus rates are variable and can go down as well as up.
Am I eligible?
To take out a Capital access bond you must be aged 18yrs or over. There is no maximum age limit.
How much can I invest?
Currently you must invest at least £25,000 lump sum. There is no maximum amount.
Can I make regular contributions?
The CAB does not have a regular saving facility. However, you can make ad hoc additional investments to your Bond of at least £500 whenever you like.
Can I easily take money out if I need it?
Yes. You can cash-in all or part of your Bond at any time.
If you want to cash-in only part of your Bond, you must leave a minimum balance of £25,000 invested.
Can I take regular withdrawals?
Yes. You can take regular withdrawals of currently £100 or more, as long as you leave a minimum of £25,000 invested. You should remember that if you take any withdrawals, the amount of your capital will reduce if the growth of your investment does not exceed the levels of withdrawals taken.

How will I be able to keep track of my investment?
You will be sent a regular statement showing all transactions made since your last statement, the value of any bonuses added, and the total value of the Bond itself.
