We're proud to have nominated local charity Loose Ends Newbury, to receive a donation of £6,379 from the national £1.92 million ‘NFU Mutual Agency Giving Fund’ in 2022.

We nominated Loose Ends Newbury to receive this support, to help deliver their important work.  This donation has allowed them to continue to provide their services to those in need. Alison from Loose Ends said: ‘In these difficult times we are keener than ever to provide a hot meal and a warm welcome to anyone in Newbury and the surrounding area who would otherwise go without. We are run entirely by volunteers giving their time for free and are supported by the local community with a variety of donations. Your donation will be help us to buy in food, pay for heating and lighting and generally help with our running costs such as IT, waste disposal and cleaning products.'

The Agency Giving Fund forms part of our £3.25m funding pledge for local and national charities in 2022, to help tackle the ongoing effects of the pandemic and assist with recovery.
