Welcome to NFU Mutual’s Penrith agency. We are located opposite the castle, next to the train station in Penrith. We are a merged agency with the Cockermouth office, which enables us to cover a wider area and provide a high level of customer service.

I joined the team at Penrith in 2012 as a Customer Service Adviser to deal with all aspects of motor personal insurances, as well as handling claims. I became Agency Manager in January 2017 when we merged with the Cockermouth agency and now work over both offices to ensure we provide the best service for our customers.

I joined the Penrith agency in 2008 as the Claims Handler and dealt with personal and business insurance queries. I moved on to become a Sales Associate in 2012 and specialise in farming and commercial insurance, as well as financial services.

Kara is our Financial Services Coordinator and assists in making appointments for NFU Mutual Financial Advisers, Alan Hodgson & Robert Coates. She also increases awareness of the financial services products we offer including your pension, investment and protection needs to both new and existing clients.
