Agency’s employee raises £1120 for The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution
Freya Benson at NFU Mutual in Haywards Heath is delighted to have raised £1140 for The Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI), by completing the London 2 Brighton Challenge after 30 hours of walking non-stop! Now in its 10th year, 2000 adventurers take on this 100km challenge which can be competed at any pace, continuously, with overnight stops or half and quarter distance options.
The funds raised will allow the RABI to provide charitable support to farming people.
Established in 1860, RABI’s sights are firmly fixed on the future. The charity continues to develop a targeted approach to the provision of services to tackle the complex issues facing the sector.
Freya Benson Insurance Sales Adviser and Claims Assistant said: “In my spare time I volunteer for RABI and form part of their local committee. I have experienced first-hand the issues facing the farming community during the lockdown and wanted to do something to help them out.”
Sally Field, RABI Regional Manager South East, said: “Freya is a super star’, it’s a very impressive and difficult challenge to undertake and it’s really appreciated that she chose to raise money for RABI and support the farming community.”
