Before making a claim

We are sorry that you need to make a Motor Insurance claim. You can complete this form to make a claim, providing that:

  1. You are making a claim on a Private Car insurance policy
  2. You can provide your policy number (which begins 002x)
  3. You are not currently in an emergency situation needing roadside assistance
  4. Your vehicle is currently safe to drive (and you are comfortable to do so)
  5. You are the policyholder, a named driver or NFU Mutual Agency Staff
  6. You are reporting a claim following an incident where only your car is involved OR if another car is involved you do not have the third party's details.

If your claim is any of the below types, please report it to us over the phone:

  • Collision with another car where you do have the third party's details
  • Collision with a pedestrian or cyclist 
  • Theft or Fire 
  • Glass Damage only
  • Damage of someone else’s property

Opening hours are 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 2pm on Saturday. Outside of these times your call will be passed to our Out of Hours team who will assist with your claim notification.
