Before you make a claim
If you need to make a new claim, please ensure you have the following:
- Policy number
- Your name and address
- Details of the incident that has to the claim including date, circumstances and, if possible, an estimate of the cost
- Your contact number
How to make a claim
If you purchased your policy through a local agent contact your local agency office.
If you purchased your policy over the phone through Mutual Direct you can notify us of a new claim or provide updates to an existing claim by calling 0800 197 0963.
Out of hours emergency claims
In the event of an emergency in your premises which:
- Puts your health, or that of your employees, at risk;
- Creates a risk of damage to your premises or property;
- Creates unacceptable working conditions.
Call our Commercial Emergency Helpline 0800 197 0963 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week) and use option 3.
In the event of broken windows or fixed glass at your property you can utilise a 24 hour service to ensure that any broken glass is replaced without delay. For full details please refer to the Accidental Breakage of Fixed Glass cover extension of the policy.
