Proud to support Clywd Special Riding Centre

Jo-Anne Prince, agent of the Chester & Maelor NFU Mutual office, nominated Clwyd Special Riding Centre based in Llangollen for our Maelor agency donation from the Agency Giving fund, with the 3 partners topping this up to a £7,000 total donation. Jo-Anne described a little about the centre and why she nominated it:

"Clwyd Special Riding Centre is a local registered charity, providing state of the art facilities for people of all ages, who have a wide range of disabilities and additional needs who want to be involved with equine based activities. These include horse riding, carriage driving and hippotherapy which is a form of physiotherapy on horseback.

"Having been a keen rider in my younger days and seeing the fantastic facilities and support which they provide, encouraged me to nominate this charity. The funds will  be used towards on the going care for the horses and equipment on site and there are plans for further improvements to the centre to make it even more accessible to all.

"If you know someone with a disability who might benefit from their fantastic riding centre, I’d really encourage you to contact them"
