Important Update: BT Redcare Services Ending

BT Redcare services will be discontinued on 15th December 2025. If you currently have a Redcare account, your intruder and fire alarm installer should already have contacted you to discuss upgrading your alarm system and your specific requirements.

If you haven’t received any communication, please contact your alarm installer as soon as possible to discuss the next steps.

What You Need to Know 

  • Upgrading Your Alarm System

To maintain your policy cover and any security-related discounts, it’s essential that your alarm system meets NFU Mutual’s required standards. If your system hasn’t been upgraded yet, please let your NFU Mutual Agent or Mutual Direct know so they can provide the right advice and support.

  • Delays or Concerns 

If you’re experiencing delays or have concerns about replacing your alarm system, speak to your NFU Mutual representative. They will ensure your individual circumstances are handled appropriately. In some cases, flexibility may be possible during this transition period. 

  • New Business 

The withdrawal of BT Redcare may affect the wider insurance market. For new policies, please ensure alarm systems meet NFU Mutual’s standards or are in the process of being upgraded.
