NFU Mutual Wessex Supports Local Communities

NFU Mutual Wessex supports local communities as restrictions are lifted

As the pandemic restrictions started to lift NFU Mutual Wessex has been able to resume its community support as key local events are once again taking place. Supporting the local communities we serve in Wiltshire and Dorset is vitally important to us and a key part of our ongoing activity.

Here are a few of the events we have been able to support this year:

Farley Music Festival June 2021

Run with social distancing in mind this sell out festival of classical music was originally conceived to give concert experience and some financial assistance to promising young musicians, to be a vehicle to reinforce village and local pride, community spirit and wide enjoyment, and raise funds to maintain the venue, All Saints Church. NFU Mutual Wessex has been a long term supporter of this event and was thrilled to be able to be involved again this year.

Celebrate Voice October 2021

The Celebrate Voice festival weathered the storm and re-emerged this year with a new programme of opera, jazz, cabaret, choral and family events featuring world-class performers.

NFU Mutual was proud to sponsor the ‘Sold Out’ opening night extravaganza, with Ronnie Scott’s jazz club featuring a brand-new collection of music celebrating The Ronnie Scott’s ‘Soho Songbook’. A spectacular evening which ended in a standing ovation.

Purbeck Film October 2021

NFU Mutual Wessex was delighted to be able to once again support the Purbeck Film festival, a registered charity and the UK’s longest running rural film festival bringing must-see films to the region as well as supporting amateur filmmakers. This year brought a thrilling range of 65 films from at least 16 countries showcasing the very best of cinema.

Salisbury Christmas Tree Trail

Salisbury Council is bringing the magical Christmas Tree Trail to the City again this year from 20 November 2021 - 2 January 2022. NFU Mutual is once again a tree sponsor and pleased to be able to help bring some much-needed festive cheer to local residents.

There will be twelve decorated trees dotted around the city centre, each with a different theme, and a quiz for families to complete as they walk around the trail.
