David became an Agent in August 2018 and took over the post of Senior Agent when Ian Macpherson retired in December 2018. A farmer's son originally from Dumfries, David studied Agriculture at SAC Auchincruive before returning home to the family farm near Stranraer. After a career in the public sector, David is now enjoying being back working in the agricultural industry. Getting out and about, building relationships within the local farming community is a part of the job David enjoys. He is Group Secretary for the NFU Scotland Wigtown branch and is available to assist with any Union matters. Wilma joined the agency in November 1999 having previously been an Inspector with the Department of Agriculture. Wilma has a wealth of experience in rural, farming and commercial insurance and coming from an active farming background has a wide knowledge of all aspects of farming. Kathryn joined the agency in June 2011 as a Customer Service Adviser, stepping up to the role of Office Manager in March 2019. As a farmer's daughter Kathryn enjoys working in the agency and can assist with farm, commercial, motor, home and equine enquiries over the phone or face-to-face and is also responsible for overseeing the Claims Service within the agency. Kathryn is also available to arrange appointments with our Financial Adviser Alan Leslie.
Accounts Manager / Agents PA
Audrey joined the agency in 2011 as an Office Administrator having previously had 15 years' clerical experience with Dumfries & Galloway Council and the NHS. She moved up to her current role in March 2019. Audrey is responsible for the day-to-day running of the agency and is in charge of overseeing the management of client’s financial transactions, including the review and issuing of renewal documents. As Agents PA she organises the Agents diaries and assists with the completion of the post call review documents.
Customer Service Adviser
David joined the Stranraer agency in March 2018 having previously worked in various financial services organisations in Glasgow, before returning home to New Luce to help out on the family farm and manage another family business. David deals with motor and home new business sales and customer enquiries over the telephone or face-to-face in the agency, as well as any motor and home changes, queries or renewals. David can assist with motor claims and he is also available to arrange appointments through our Financial Adviser Alan Leslie.

Janie joined the Stranraer team in April 2019 having previously worked as a Personal Banker. Janie has a wealth of experience in customer service and will be pleased to help you with any queries you may have on motor products.
Insurance Sales Trainee
Lee joined the agency in July 2019. As current treasurer of Stranraer & Rhins Young Farmers Club Lee is well known in the community and is looking forward to working with existing and new customers.
