Guidance about how to claim a benefit from Life Cover and Protection administered by both NFU Mutual and AIG.

How to claim a benefit from a policy depends on who the policy is administered by.

It may be useful to have the following to hand when contacting whoever your policy is administered by:

  • Full name
  • Plan/policy number
  • Date of death or diagnosis
  • Medical condition you wish to be considered (for Critical Illness claims).

Policies administered by AIG

If you bought a Life Cover or Protection policy after 1st August 2016 this will have been administered by AIG.

The person claiming should contact AIG as soon as possible either by email, post and phone.

If you bought a Life Cover or Protection policy before April 2016 this will have been administered by NFU Mutual.

The person claiming should contact NFU Mutual as soon as possible either by email, post or phone.
