Even if you’re not making a claim for your own losses, you may find yourself facing a claim from the other person involved. We will give you help and advice and deal with any claims made against you.
Before you make a claim
If you need to make a new claim, please ensure you have the following:
- Your name and address
- Vehicle Registration Number
- Details of any third parties involved
- Details of the incident that has led to the claim including date and circumstances
- An indication of the value of the claim, such as purchase price, estimated replacement cost, or the extent of damage or injury
- Your contact number
How to make a claim

In an emergency
If you’ve had a road traffic accident and need emergency roadside assistance, call 0800282652.
If your vehicle has broken down and you require assistance, please call 0800282652 and use option 1.
Windscreen repair and replacement
You can book a hassle free appointment online with a technician from Autoglass or National Windscreens, our preferred glazing suppliers.

Motor Legal Protection
If you would like to make a Motor Legal Protection claim or you need advice after an incident, please call the DAS helpline on 0800 587 8876 as soon as possible after the incident. DAS Legal Expenses Insurance Company Ltd provide this free service for our members. Their claims office is open 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday and the helpline is open 24/7.
