NFU Mutual Central-South Warwickshire and Pershore - Agency Giving Fund 2025

NFU Mutual Central-South Warwickshire and Pershore agency recently nominated local charity Royal British Legion Henley in Arden and District Branch, to receive a donation of £7,899 from NFU Mutual’s national £2.33 million ‘Agency Giving Fund’. The Fund forms part of NFU Mutual’s £4m pledge to support charities during 2025.
This year, NFU Mutual Central-South Warwickshire and Pershore has selected five charities to each receive a donation in the areas where it has offices from NFU Mutual’s national Agency Giving Fund (the Fund was launched in 2020 in response to the pandemic and ensures donations reach all corners of the UK and are directed where they are needed most, close to over 280 nationwide NFU Mutual agencies).
The Royal British Legion (RBL) provides lifelong support to the UK's Armed Forces community, including serving and ex-serving personnel and their families, by offering financial and specialist guidance, recovery programmes, housing support, and welfare services. The charity also campaigns on issues affecting the Armed Forces community, provides advice and expert guidance for transitioning to civilian life, and commemorates and honours those who have served and sacrificed.
The NFU Mutual Central-South Warwickshire and Pershore donation will be used to promote the RBL in an area covering Henley in Arden, Wootton Wawen, Ullenhall, Aston Cantlow, Bearley and Tanworth-in-Arden.
At the recent cheque presentation, Gerald Easton, an RAF police veteran, said: “This amazing contribution helps us to continue to deliver support to ex military and their families locally – whatever problems they have - so, a big thank you to NFU Mutual for its generosity.”
Danny James, Senior Agent at NFU Mutual Central-South Warwickshire and Pershore Agency said: “We remain committed to supporting vital community causes which matter to our agency’s clients and community. Our staff are committed to looking at opportunities to nominate charities near our offices and fundraise for them. This includes our employee volunteering programme which enables all of the team to take time off work to support local causes.”
