Protect the things that really matter

  • We'll pay the cost of alternative accommodation for you, your family, and domestic pets, if your home can't be lived in, up to £75,000 or 25% of the insured rebuild cost, whichever is more
  • Replacement of locks, safes and alarm systems if the keys are lost or stolen; if they are lost, we'll pay up to £1,000
  • Damage to contents in your garden up to £5,000. Garden trees, plants and shrubs up to £2,000; up to £250 for any single item
  • Up to £10,000 for the cost of tracing leaks in water pipes or oil fired heating systems
  • Personal legal expenses up to £50,000 to provide you or your family living in your home with advice and help with the cost of legal representation, including a 24 hour advice helpline
  • Automatic increase of your contents sum insured by 10% or £5,000, whichever is the most, a month before and a month after a wedding, birthday or religious festival
  • 3 year warranty against the quality of workmanship for building repair works to insured damage carried out by our approved contractors*
  • New and renewing policyholders can add Home Emergency Cover, protecting against seven unexpected emergencies, for £27.50 per year.

*Excludes connected services such as drainage system or sewage tank; boiler and heating systems are covered under optional Home Emergency, where a one year repair guarantee is provided.
