Agency Giving Fund 2025
NFU Mutual Newark Agency is proud to support Children’s Bereavement Centre
We're proud to have nominated local charity Children’s Bereavement Centre, to receive a donation of £7,899 from NFU Mutual’s national £2.33 million ‘Agency Giving Fund’. This donation will enable Children’s Bereavement Centre to fund the following:
• 1:1 support with a counsellor or bereavement support worker enabling children/young people to access specialist support
• play sessions for the younger children (from 3-18 years)
• Family groups (8 weeks of a weekly support sessions for the whole family) which involves working with all members of the family to improve communication and develop strong relationships
• The comfort bears given to all primary school aged children that access support as a connection back to the centre
• The funding will assist with projects such as residential trips to Derbyshire, training for head teachers and their online facility for remembrance and ongoing care.
The Agency Giving Fund forms part of NFU Mutual’s pledge to support charities during 2025.
