How do I contact Road Rescue?

If you need Road Rescue assistance and no longer have a contact card, call the NFU Mutual Customer Help Line on 0808 304 9263.

If you need Road Rescue assistance, call 0808 304 9263 and select Option 1 for RAC Breakdown Assistance.

If you previously relied on a Road Rescue contact card, you can now access breakdown assistance through this number.

When prompted, select:

Option 1: RAC Breakdown Assistance

This will connect you directly to the RAC breakdown team, who are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

When should I call?

Call if your vehicle has broken down and you need assistance provided under your Road Rescue cover.

This may include:

  • A vehicle that won't start
  • Mechanical or electrical faults
  • Flat batteries
  • Punctures
  • Misfuelling incidents
  • Vehicle recovery following a breakdown

What information should I have ready?

To help arrange assistance as quickly as possible, it's useful to have:

  • Your vehicle registration number
  • Your policy number, if available
  • Your location
  • A brief description of the problem
