Agency Giving Fund 2025
We recently nominated local charity Maple Unit at Yeovil Hospital to receive a donation of £7,899 from NFU Mutual’s national £2.33 million ‘Agency Giving Fund’.
The Maple Unit opened in 2024 and provides a stand-alone, purpose-built breast cancer unit. The Unit has been designed with lots of art and natural light, a dedicated area for difficult conversations, and a comfortable waiting area, away from other busy outpatient areas and treatment rooms. It also means that patients undergoing tests no longer have to undress multiple times and move to different areas of the hospital. The Fund forms part of NFU Mutual’s pledge to support charities during 2025.
