We provide cover for jewellery and watches as standard up to £10,000 in total and per item, pair or set with the flexibility to increase limits or arrange specified cover to suit higher-value or more extensive collections. This means you can be confident your policy is designed around your needs.

Bespoke Home Insurance is specifically designed for high-value homes and belongings, recognising that collections of jewellery and watches often require more tailored protection than a standard home insurance policy provides. Whether your items are worn daily or kept as part of a wider collection, we can shape your cover accordingly.

With local expertise supported by experienced underwriters, claims handlers and specialist suppliers, we offer a personal specialist service giving you reassurance that your most valuable possessions are protected from quote through to claim.

What's covered

  • Unspecified jewellery and watches cover up to £20,000 per item.
  • Specified jewellery and watches cover up to the value agreed with us.
  • Sets and pairs cover - if you lose or damage one of a pair or set, we'll pay to replace or restore the entire pair or set up to the single article limit or to the agreed value.
  • New purchases cover designed to give you peace of mind for valuables you have just purchased, paying up to 25% of your total insured valuables replacement cost for a period of up to 60 days.
  • Underinsurance protection giving you 150% of the insured value when a professional valuation has been provided in the last three years.
  • Damage caused by domestic pets, up to £5,000 in any period of cover.

What's not covered

  • Any excess, which is the amount you’ll need to pay towards a claim. Your policy documents will outline where these apply
  • Damage or loss caused by lack of general maintenance, wear and tear, and loss of value over time
  • Theft from an unattended vehicle, unless it is from a locked boot, concealed luggage compartment or glove compartment. If your vehicle doesn’t have any of these, we will pay up to £1,000. There must have been forcible and violent entry.
  • Cover for items permanently kept away from the address on the policy schedule.
